If the future motion of the ball (feedback device) is actually entangled with intention, by definition they are inseparable and "direction" of effect is indistinguishable. I believe current quantum mechanical theory does not yet propose a solution as to how such an entanglement might occur so I would say there is only the appearance or suggestion of such an effect. I don't think it's possible for the ball to predict our intention because it is not conscious and an influence of mind requires consciousness. The question of whether an influence of mind operates by some type of selection process of alternative universes is currently well beyond our theoretical and experimental capabilities to resolve.
